Imagine a blend of Osher, a community center, and adult summer camp — and you’ll get the spirit of Community Meetup.  The Community Meetup will be held on Monday evenings.

The goal is to create a 3rd space that is informal, welcoming, affordable, and open — places where acquaintances become friends and strangers feel they belong. Community Meetup is designed to be a space where you might come to spend time with friends, run into someone you haven’t seen in years, or meet someone new. It will be a hub for creating and sustaining meaningful relationships.

At 6:15 pm, we will start with dinner from a local restaurant.  Each meal will have vegetarian options. People must preregister for dinner by Wednesday prior.  The optional dinner will be followed by two 50-minute chuggim sessions with a coffee/dessert break in between.

Each week will offer different activities. Our eventual goal is to have adult education, social justice, wellness, spirituality, and social offerings each week. Here are some of the offerings that will be available over the first couple of months:
